Multi chasis ML PPP

Hi everybody,

On 2 access servers I configured Stack group binding protocol to operate MMPPP. If I use the same username for 2 connection , there is no problem. I can see MMPPP bundle is created on only first access server. Client operates perfectly.

But if I use a username for the first connection and an other username for the second connection , it is not operating. I can see the bundle is created on the first access server but I cann't ping from the client until the second connection becomes down. I tried 3 types of bundle name construction methods( username , end station , both ). This didn't solve my problem. The bundle name in this case is the same but it doesn't operate.

When using SGBP , do we need to use the same username for the 2 connections?

Or there is anybody solved this issue?

I am using 12.07T Enterprise Plus IOS.

Thanks everybody
