Multicast error log messages

Found these messages on the one of my core switch. We have around 40 vlans in the network and above 3000 users.

In the site work around specified is to reduce the number of groups.

How to do that.

Is their any other work around.

For this message the problem is "This message indicates that IGMP snooping is unable to add an entry to the Earl 2 table. [chars] is the entry value and [dec] is the VLAN number".

This message indicates that the number of multicast entries has reached the maximum limit. [dec] is 3072, which is the maximum number of multicast entries. No new entries will be created.

Recommended Action: Make sure no more than 3072 groups are used. Contact your technical support representative
