Multicast over mlppp

I have configured a multilink interface using 2 T1's that work then when I enable multicast I cannot get the multicast to flow, I've set the ttl to 15, the remote router cannot resolve the source address for the multicast group, I am joining the group remotly, I tried join-group commands to no avail, I'm wondering if there is something else I need to do, is there something that I need to do differently when configuring over a multilink interface as opposed to lets say a serial interface.

thanks a lot in advance guys

Re: Multicast over mlppp

Hello Dave,

from the receiving router, can you execute the following commands and post the results ?

#sh ip pim interface XX detail

#sh ip pim interface count

#sh ip pim interface df

#sh ip pim neighbor

# debug ip pim

Regards,

Georg

Re: Multicast over mlppp

Hi Georg thanks for the response, but it was a TTL problem, our developers had it set at 1, so the packets were being discarded at the first hop. thanks for the response though.

Dave
