Multiple DSL Connections into a 1600 Series Router

We have had a single DSL 'like' device connected to a 1600 router working very nicely. However, we've been asked by uper management for more bandwidth using the same technology. I know that multiple DSL line can NOT be simply pumped into the 1600 with RJ45, but wold this configuration work:

Put multiple DSL lines into a hub. Then the hub into the router using a single RJ45. Then the router into our switch.

If this is possible to do,would the router be capable of managing a range of incoming IP's (ie. each DSL line having its own IP from our ISP) and passing them to our switch behind our firewall to our network?

Scott,

I assume you are talking about and ethernet hub. An ethernet hub will not function properly when DSLs are plugged into it.
