Multiple subnets per single VLAN?

We have a switch in our data center with multiple subnets connected to it. This switch has a Gigabit Ethernet connection to a switch at another data center. Trunking is not allowed across the connection, because it passes through several other switches that are outside our control.

Can I share multiple subnets across both switches by putting the subnets in the same vlan, along with the Gigabit Ethernet interface? And then duplicating that configuration on the remote side? It's not ideal, obviously, but will it work?

you can use a single VLAN for multiple ip subnets, and use several secondary ip add on you router's interface, i thinks this will work for your condition.
