Multiple T1 line load sharing into cloude

Any suggestions as to how to load share across two T1 links inbound from service provider into single destination network. Service provider is running BGP and is telling us it too complex to implement. I need to understand what is so complex.

You could do multi-link PPP

Also, you could load share over BGP as long as you do the same thing on both sides.

Create two static host routes, one over each T1, pointing to the IP address of your BGP peer. The IP address of the peer will probably be a loopback on the peer router. Use BGP MultiHop for this. BGP will advertise the next hop as the loopback, but the two static routes will load balance over the two T1s when actual data is sent.

Did I forget anything? I think that's about it.

Just remember that both T1s need to terminate on the same router on both sides.

I'm sure there are other options. What did they suggest?

Mick.
