Hi All,
When I redistribute route into another protocol, Must the command "default-metric" be used to define the metric? Thank You!

No, it doesn't have to be used. You can define the metric on the "redistribute" command. However, if you are redistributing a few protocols into one protocol, it would be easier to define your "default-metric" command. This would save you some typing and would be applied to all protocols being redistributed.

It is not necessary to use default metric you can define it with redistribution command as well. Default metric is only helpful for consistency.
Routing protocol will not be redistributed if you do not define metric either with default metric or metric with redistribution command.
