Mysterious GBIC: 30-0904-01 equivalent to WS-G5484?

Dear Logistics Gurus:

I found some of the following GBICs, but cannot

determine whether they are equivalent to the

WS-G5484 1000BASE-SX GBIC.

They are gold in color, one side ways

Cisco Systems 30-0904-01 1000BASE-SX

The other side says

Stratos Lightwave ABISY100 (I assume this number

is a serial number, not a model number.)

Can anyone please let me know what this

30-0904-01 part implies? I'm looking for an SX

GBIC for my 2924M-XL 1000BASE-X uplink module.

I have searched the Cisco site, and numerous search

engines, but cannot find anything definitive.

I guess they are not same....

I tried the parts in my WS-C2924M-XL-EN

on Friday, and they work fine. For $30 each

including shipping, they were a pretty good

deal. Ironically, I found the original WS-G5484

parts which had gone missing on Monday. Funny

how things work that way. ;-)
