NAM is at Power Down Status after rebooting

I have a Catalyst 6509 with a NAM-2 SW ver 2.2. When configuring some Core Monitoring functions NAM reached 100% CPU utilisation so we decided to reboot it (with the "hw-module reset" command from 6500's CLI)

When rebooting we saw this:

%SNMP-5-MODULETRAP: Module 4 [Down] Trap

SP: The PC in slot 4 is shutting down. Please wait ...

SP: shutdown_pc_process:No response from module 4

%C6KPWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 4 set off (Reset)

%C6KPWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 4 set off (Reset)

SP: oir_disable_notice: slot4: lcp failed to go online

and NAM appears as Power Down. When trying to resetting NAM again, we can't do it cause it is power down.

How can we reset NAM to put it at power up ?

Thanks in advance

Make sure that the NAM is seated properly in the chassis and then try to boot it into the Maintenance Partition to see if it comes up.

Re: NAM is at Power Down Status after rebooting

For your information, I solved it in this way:

"From global configuration mode, enter the power enable module slot

command to turn the power on for a module that was previously powered down."

And it worked !!

Thanks for your responses
