NAM or nGenius probe

we are currently evaluting between NetScout probe with nGenius performance manager and Cisco NAM with nGenious real-time monitor. It seems like the two are very similar in function, except that Cisco NAMs are proprietory. Any insight on what the differences in functionality are? or which one works better?

Both may have their own advantages, but NAM works out to be better. Since it has the built-in Web Traffic Analyzer application which is Java free as compared to nGenius. Also, RTM requires the installation and setup of the application on a server first, no such issues with NAM.
