Named Pipes problem

I recently upgraded and old switch to a Catalyst 4006 a w/Sup3 module. I have installed an IOS image to supprt static routes. My network is "flat" and runs IP and AppleTalk.

My DBA is telling me that he can't pass "named pipes" since the upgrade.

Any ideas?

I am not sure what is named pipes or what protocol it is .

But we do not support appletalk routing till the next version.

I would suggest finding more information about this issue from your DBA and troubleshoot from there and if you still need help, open a TAC case.
