NAT - Based Address Destination

Hi,

I would like to change my destination ip...it´s possible ???

For example, when I try access IP : 10.10.10.1, NAT change destination IP to 20.20.20.1.

Ex:

Source Address = 10.10.10.254

Destination = 10.10.10.1

NAT

Source Address = 10.10.10.254

Destination = 20.20.20.1

Thanks

Adriano

Re: NAT - Based Address Destination

Hello Adriano,

not sure if I understand your question...do you want to reach address 20.20.20.1 from your source 10.10.10.254, or do you want 10.10.10.254 translated to an address from the 20.20.20.0 address space ?

In both cases you will have to use the command:

ip nat inside source static 10.10.10.254 20.20.20.x

If that is not what you mean, please clarify.

Re: NAT - Based Address Destination

Hello Adriano,

I am sorry, I still do not fully understand what you mean: the destination IP address of your user is 10.10.10.1 and you want to change this address to 20.20.20.1 ? In that case, you could use a static outside translation:

ip nat outside source static 10.10.10.1 20.20.20.1

Now, if I am not mistaken, you can send packets to 20.20.20.1, and those packets will actually go to 10.10.10.1.

Regards,

Georg
