NAT in CISCO 760

Hi everybody,

I have a problem.There is a WAN over ISDN with CISCO 760 routers.LANs

use private IP addressing and are connected together through DDR via

profiles. Now the customer wants connectivity from each site to the ISP.

The solution would be the PAT,but that is possible with only 2 profiles (as

far as I know) and the customer needs all the connections between sites

as well.

So,as I see it,there is only one solution to this private and public connectivity

problem - NAT.But,is CISCO 760 able to do NAT ?

Could somebody give me a hint or even the answer ?

Thank you.

Re: NAT in CISCO 760

The 760 can support NAT. There is a configuration sample at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1828/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00800871cd.html#xtocid269598. It probably won't be your exact environment, but should provide the information you need to make thiings work.

Hope it helps.

Re: NAT in CISCO 760

Dear Bob,

I thank you for your help,but..

What I have found is only the PAT case.It would mean,I can have not more than

2 profiles on the CISCO 700 and that would not do.There is not a word about

NAT in the sample.Thanks anyway

Re: NAT in CISCO 760

Zdenek,

I think i did this before and have some sample (working) configs

Do I understand your question when i say:

Customer1 wants a connection to Customer2 and ISP

Customer2 want a connection to customer1 and ISP

This is possible with PAT on the ISP profile and you could establish a connection with routing to the other customer.
