Is anybody aware of performance issues when doing NAT on UDP packets? Specifically, I need to support H.323 Voice traffic under NAT and I was told that the UDP packets generated by RTP will consume a huge amount of the CPU of the 3600 I'll use.
NAT is not a huge task for a 3600. Sure it will use some cycles but there are a number of other considerations (like expected traffic, bandwidth, etc.) Your Cisco SE should be able to help you determine which router will be best in your environment.
