I have a 2621 running IOS 12.2(10b). On this particular router NAT is configured with an IP pool of 26 addresses (no overload). Somehow the NAT table fills up, and doesn't release entries. My understanding is these should get cleared within 24 hours. The DHCP server doles out from a range of 100 addresses, and we have about 5-6 people in the office during a typical day. So after about 5 days the NAT pool is exhausted and the router stops providing NAT for new client connections.
Anybody seen something like this? I've tried setting the NAT timeout value to a few hours, but nothing. I have to go in and clear the nat trans myself.
Thanks in advance for any insight into this problem,
