Native or Hybrid

A customer of us is in the middle of a rollout of a new switches network. Is it wise to choose the Hybrid mode. Is Cisco still developing on the CatOS or is

CatOS an ending story. Are there good reasons why we would use IOS on the 6513 with msfc2 and sup2 board instead of CatOS.

Native IOS should be the way to go. However, we do not support some line cards and features yet in native IOS(such as AVVID products). So make sure you read the release notes fully before you make the call
