NATIVE_VLAN_MISMATCH

we have a WS-C3524-XL-EN wiche is connected to a WS-C5500 over a GBIC SX. Ther is no trunking configured on this link. I checked the native vlan on the 3524 and 5500 bot show me the default VLAN1 as native vlan. Waht could be the cause of this cdp mismatch messages?

Re: NATIVE_VLAN_MISMATCH

Encapsulation mismatch.

The 3524 is running isl and the 5500 is running dot1q. Make them the same.

Re: NATIVE_VLAN_MISMATCH

There is no trunking configured, no isl, no do1q.

WS-C5500

****************** show trunk ******************

No ports trunking.
