What is the minimum series of Catalyst L3 switches that support Network Based Application Registration ( NBAR) classification feature ?

As it stands today, none of the L3 switches support Pure IOS NBAR. You will need to use extended ACLs. NBAR in L3 switches in coming...

Currently NBAR is supported in CAT6xxx only on FLEXWAN interfaces. Full support is expected in an native IOS release scheduled for late september/early october. For hybrid system, it'll be supported in early 2003
