Need to send a reset connection trough my IDS using a 6509 switch with IOS

I need to send a reset connection when receiving attacks registered with my IDS . I know enabling "inpkts" works fine but when using CATOS. I don´t have CATOS, I have IOS with next characteristics. How can I enable the inpkts function with this version?
