netflow card in cat 4500 series

Hi All,

Does anybody know what's the difference between have the netflow card and have not the netflow card in cat 4500? Does the netflow card just make the switching faster? Can I perform layer 3 switching without netflow card in cat 4500 ? Thank You!

The switch does Layer 3 switching in hardware and does not need a Netflow Card. You can find more about Netflow card features on CCO
