Greetings,
NFC v4.0 on a i686 server with Linux 7.1 (kernel 2.4.9-e.27smp) and 2GB+ RAM causes the following problem:
Whenever I use the DetailASMatrix aggregation for a thread, NFC stops working at the time of a write. This does not always happen at the same time, sometimes at the next aggregation period, sometimes after a few successful periods.
This does not happen with CallRecord, but it also does happen with HostMatrixInterface.
Any help would be appreciated.
regards,
Lou

Hi Lou
It looks like a multiprocessor SMP machine, it's not supported in NfC4.0. It'll be supported in NFC5.0 for Linux, which will be out soon.
Many regards
Alex

Alex,
thanks for your reply.
I am able to run the CallRec thread by itself without any problems. So, is the problem (and the "non-support") related to running multiple threads?
thanks,
Lou

Hi Lou,
We've seen some issues with SMP and NFC4.0.
You need to move to the upcoming NFC5.0 (to have SMP support) or to non-SMP setup.
Many regards
Alex
