Netflow statistics in a cluster of routers

I am writing custom tool for analyzing NetFlow data generated by our internet routers. I need to exclude traffic among the routers from exported NetFlow statistics - otherwise it would be accounted for twice.

Is it possible to achieve this by NOT enabling netflow switching on interfaces, that lead to other internet routers?

I guess, this should be possible by disabling the netflow switching on the required interfaces.

I do this in the flow processing software by filtering flows with next-hops that lead to other netflow-exporting routers. It's a hack, but it works pretty well to eliminate duplicate flows.
