HI Dear

I`m using the SolarWinds software that i think it`s better than every software that i seen. www.solarwinds.net i prefer that you download Engineer Edition that has fully access .

There are several apps available for this purpose, but I'm not aware of any free wares, if you're looking for them. CW2000 has an application for Fault Management called DFM which can monitor your network elements and send out email, paging alerts etc. Cisco Works Windows also comes with What's Up Gold which have this capability. SNMPc by Castel Rock can also do this type of functions. If you're interested in CW2000 which is better than others, have a look at the docs which will give you more detailed info:

Look at Denika it is a product from a company called Somix, www.somix.com it can be integrated very easily with WhatsUp gold. Lots of value for the price.
