Newbie:1600/1601 Router: How do I Save my Configuration If I loose power
First time configuring 1600/1601 router. When I completed by configurations from the prompted questions I answser yes to, is the setting I want to use. The problem is when I loose power my router does not hold the settings and I'm forced to reconfigre the router each time I loose power. Am I doing somthing wrong or what command do I type to save by settings which I've assiged to my Ethernet/Serial ports and my static IP routes?

If you do a "sh version" what does the configuration register show? It would be something like 0x2102 if it is something other than this then you may have to change it to this, which will allow you to save your running config to startup config.
