Newbie intern: Can I do this in my test lab?

Hello all,

I'm new to most of this and I would really appreciate any help. In my test lab I have 2 identical routers:

7200VRX with a PA-MCX-2TE1 card.

In the simplest form, can I just connect a crossover cable between these two cards, configure one router to be DCE and the other DTE, and see LMI messages go back and forth?

Eventually I want to be able to route traffic through that crossover cable and tap into it using a T1 analyzer.

Am I way off?

You can do a crossover cable between two T1 ports and configure frame-relay on this link.
