Newbie Q - Telnet to Pix 515 firewall

Hi,

I am trying to connect to my firewall in order to enable logging for FirewallAnalyzer (www.eiqnetworks.com). The help file says to telent to the firewall and then gives a list of commands, but I havent the slightest idea how to even connect.

Connect to the console port using a rollover cable. Using a terminal program like Windows's Hyperterminal, connect to the console port and use a terminal emulator for 9600 bits, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.

Or if the firewall is already configured to permit telnet, telnet to the inside interface address and log in.
