We are looking to deploy a 2600 router to provide a link between two VLANs implemented on another suppliers switches. We will need to use ACLs to control access. Are these provided in the base IP IOS or do we need the firewall feature set to do this. We do not need any application proxying.
the IP feature pack for the 2600 supports standard and extended access lists. Just make sure that you get a 2600 with a FastEthernet interface to support trunking.
