newby- access to IOS on 6509

I'm trying to understand the configs on a 6500 switch. I have a 6509NEBS with dual sup2 + MSFC + PFC. I understand that there is a set based config/software and IOS based config/software. If I telnet into the SC0 port, which config will I see? From there, how do I get to the other? I'm more used to the 5500 stuff where I would enter SESSION 2 to get to the RSM in slot 2, for example.

Thanks

If you telnet to sc0, you'll be in the Layer 2 or the Supervisor. To get to the MSFCs(layer 3), you need to do a "session 15" for MSFC in slot1 and "session 16" for MSFC in slot 2
