nGenius does not recognize Cat-2980G

I am running nGenious version 1.4 and attempting to add a Cat-2980G switch. I get the error message that the RTM does not recognize that device type. Does that mean the RTM can't monitor the Cat-2980G's?

2980G is listed as supported 'Table 2: Cisco Catalyst Switches Supported by RTM': http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/fam_prod/netscout/rel_1_4/7814182.htm#xtocid14

Make sure that when you're adding this switch in RTM 1.4:

- Select the CAT2980G from the Select Switch Type pull-down and not use Automatic

- SNMP and RMON is enabled

- SP7 patch from CCO for RTM 1.4 is installed.
