NLSP and RIP on MSFC and MSFC2

Hi,

have some body had problem with RP IPX or NLSP or redistribute rip/IPx en NLSP and vice versa on catalyst msfc and msfc2 ?

Actually, all my ipx network are on RIP , and the interconnection to the MAN and the whole MAN ares on NLSP.

I'd heart that in a earlier moment there are some pbs with this reditsrtibution,

there has a bug on it ?

Re: NLSP and RIP on MSFC and MSFC2

Thank for this info,

i'll look at it.

Actually, at the side of MAN routeur/switch 6509 witch servers IPX we have

sup1A with MSFC1 (12.1.7E) ;at another side of the MAN switch/routeur (6509) with sup1/MSFC1 (12.0.7XE1) are now connected other servers.

All the distributions with/router (5509, 6506) with SUP2/MSFC2 are connected to the two MAN switch/router;

The version of different MSFC2 of the distribution switch/router are 12.1.(7a)E1, 12.1(8b)E11,

Only the LAN on Catalyst 5509 witch RSFC module (12.1.17) the ipx connection to the two sides of servers is ok and other applications on ipx.

All the client LAN are routed by the distributed switch/router.

(All the Switch/router 6500 have hybrid version Catos and IOS).

thank.
