We replace a Cisco 2501 router today with appletalk and IPX on ser 0 and IP, IPX, and apple talk on ser 1. Eth0 is connected to a 5500 with an RSM. We get the following messages:

<p>_Mar 1 13:09:39: %CLNS-3-BADPACKET: NLSP: L1 LSP, Name matches ours, ID 0030.94

E6.2AF2.00-00, seq 717, ht 5981 from _HDLC_ (Serial1)

0030.94E6.2AF2 is the MAC address of Eth0 on the replaced router. Will this MAC address time out eventually? We've seen this before and it doesn't seem to be service affecting but all 3 adjacent neighbors seem to have the wrong ID for the new router. How can this be corrected?

Looks like the server database thinks the new router is still there.

Try to clear the NLSP database.
