I just recently purchased a Cisco 2620 router for CCNA training purposes, and I would like to know if a NM1E2W module will work in a 2620 Router and if so, what IOS is required for the router to correctly detect the Module?

I have read the document that you supplied the link to, however this is the reason for my question because I've been told and have read several examples thru out my search to find out whether the module will work that say it will work in the Cisco 2620 router. heres an example of one such person stating that it works in this link: http://massis.lcs.mit.edu/archives/back.issues/2004.vol23-by.issue/V23_%23477
