Hi ,
I have some 6 e1 modules which i have tested with my 3 cisco 2621 routers all of them give the same result,the bootstrap recognizes it but after that the modules wont load and doesnt show in the running config.is there a compatibility issue ? im attaching the log.

Hi,
00:00:05: %PA-2-UNDEFPA: Undefined Port Adaptor type 65535 in bay 1 - this tells You that Your IOS has no support for this type of NM. I thhink, this module is not supported on 2621 router or You might require T version of IOS, like 12.2.8.T5 or similar. Check CCO for compatibility matrix

Are you using this NM-1CE1B or NM-1CE1U module? Or do you really mean 6 port Channelized E1 NM?
The 2600 supports 1/2 port NMs

The module is NM1CE1B ,i will try dowloading the T series IOS.how do i check compatibilty matrix.
