No HW and SW issue for Modul WS-X2924-XL-V on Cat2924

Hello,

Cat2924M-XL-EN with installed modul didn't show the hw and sw version of that modul. It looks like

Module Ports Model HW Version SW version

------ ----- ----- ---------- ----------

2 4 WS-X2924-XL-V xxxx xxxx

Configuration register is 0xF

IOS is c2900XL-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC3b.bin, should be ok. as described in hw/sw - Matrix.

Is that normal or something wrong ?

Hi Ruedi,

This is the normal behaviour. The card WS-X2924-XL-V(4 port 10/100 ISL/802.1Q switch module) does not run separate software,so it displays xxxx. Also the hardware version is not shown.

You could also check the release notes for this version if you have further queries regarding the code.
