Cordial greetings to all,
I have a Switch layer 3 with 2 VLANs. Vlan1:172.16.2.x/23 and Vlan2: 172.16.237.x/25.
Users on Vlan1 can make ping to default gateway 172.16.2.16 (Firewall). But users on Vlan2 Can't make ping to defaul gateway.
I proved to configure as gateway on internal interfece of Firewall the IP: 172.16.2.5(Switch) and then users on VLan2 can make ping to this default gateway, but this pc don't route the packets to Internet.(because the gateway points toward the interior)
That I make so that the users in Vlan2 can communicate with the Default Gateway and to leave to Internet?
That I have to make to solve this problem?
Switch IP: 172.16.2.5
Switch Gateway: 172.16.2.16
Thank you.

Hi,
You need to configure a static route on your firewall for the network 172.16.237.x/25 instead of the default gateway.
So on the firewall, configure the default gateway to point towards the internet. and add another route telling it to go to 172.16.2.5 for 172.16.237.x /25 network.
This should solve the routing issue you are facing.
