No text echo when logging to catalyst 4506

Hello,

Does anyone know why everytime I log into this switch the first username dont present an echo? I type my name and nothing appears, but I still can log in.

WS-C4506 (XPC8245)

cat4000-i5s-mz.121-19.EW1.bin

Please let me know,

never heard of this type of issue. Just to eliminate external application issue, can you try other telnet application? try putty.

this is the first time I've seen this but this happens with everyone in my network team. and we use putty, I'll try telnet, but again, this only happens with this switch, other switches are not showing the same "problem"

Is it possible for you to upgrade to at least 12.1(20)EW1? I do not have a bug id but it might correct that issue.

We are in the process of upgrading it, and I think this might be a bug.
