Non Booting from Flash (2509)

Hi, I have an access server 2509 (1 Interface Eth0, 2 Serials).

When the router booting appears the follow message: %Error: System Flash bank 0 unknow, chip id 0xFFFF (Reserved = 0xFFFF)

%Error: system flash initialization Failed.

and i can´t do anything (upgrade IOS, booting from flash)...

Please help me!!!...

It looks like the flash simm in bank 0 is bad. If you have 16 MB of flash try moving the simm from bank 1 to bank 0 . Make sure you have code on the Simm in bank 1

How configuring to booting from Bank 1??? ... It exists???

If you do a 'sh flash ' & 'sh flash all' it will show you how much and where the flash simms are located .

The router has two bank (0 &1) correct !!!, but when put the SIMM Flash on Bank 1, but no error it appears on the Hyperterminal...but... the output command show version: no flash appears.
