Is there any way of adding a non-cisco device in order it to appear in the topology map?
I don´t want to manage it from the lms, just to be capable of distingishing the state of this device, server, etc (for example with a ICMP ping or whatever).
I´ve been looking for a function for adding a new device by hand but without success.
Any help would be appreciated.

No, CM uses CDP for discovery along with SNMP, so non-cisco devices will not get discovered.

Cannot add a device manually in Campus Manager, can do it RME and then sync it with CM.
