I have 2 3524's connected by a GBIC. Ports that are in use are constantly blinking green, even when the users are gone and their computers off. Network performance is very slow at times. Is this normal?
The blinking of led is becoz in latest system u have advanced features like wake on lan, so this could be one reason...Im not sure whether the lights will go off if you completely remove the powerplug from your pc....
The reason for network slow down may be due to duplex mismatch between nic and s/w.
