Yes, at least it works on a as5300. We have a pri and 48 modems. We have it set up so it can make or receive isdn calls and make or receive async calls. i'll focus on the analog call parts of the config.

! This is the pri, the pool reference is for the isdn calls, the isdn incoming-voice

! modem statement tells it to send voice calls (analog) to the modems.

interface Serial0:23

no ip address

encapsulation ppp

ip mroute-cache

dialer pool-member 6

isdn switch-type primary-dms100

isdn incoming-voice modem

no peer default ip address

no cdp enable

ppp authentication chap pap

ppp multilink

! This defines the async interfaces, the rotary group binds these to the line

! statements

interface Group-Async1

ip unnumbered FastEthernet0

no ip mroute-cache

dialer in-band

dialer rotary-group 1

async mode dedicated

group-range 1 24

! This defines outgoing async calls, I cant remember if it was also needed for

! the incoming calls but I dont think so.

interface Dialer1

ip address 10.1.1.2 255.255.255.248 secondary

ip address 10.1.2.1 255.255.255.248

encapsulation ppp

dialer idle-timeout 900

dialer map ip 10.1.1.1 name name2 broadcast 11111111111

dialer map ip 10.1.2.2 name name1 broadcast 22222222222

dialer-group 3

no cdp enable

ppp authentication chap

! These are the lines where the phsical call parameters are set, note the rotary

! reference the binds these to the async interfaces.
