Hi all, can anyone tell me the normal way of setting these up for an internet connection, I have 10 ip's allocated to me by my isp also, i just want to know what the normal way is

if you have not DMZ
ISP--Router---PIX---switch---enduser
actually, you should only use 2 public IP @: one for the router and the second for PIX.
PIX should make NAT, so internal enduser (with privte IP @) will use the public IP @ of the PIX to communicate to internet.
do not forget to disable telnet/snmp/cdp/small-servers/finger... on router. use SDM to audit the security of your router.

I gather the router would use ip unnumbered then on the serial, and if the pix and router are on same subnet, it would pass anything on same subnet to pix ?
