Hi,

I encounter the following error msg when using NetConfig to configure Cat Switch (model: WS-C2924M-XL, c2900XL-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC3b.bin)

Error Messages as follows:

"Device was successfully downloaded, Sync Archive failed

Device manage:No Rollback Change Required

---Update Result: Partially Successful

PGN_NM=Configuration Archive:6775:TYPE=unassigned message type:Failed to get running config. for device...

"

From RME Drawer, Administration, Conf. Mgmt, Archieve Status. There is not reported for this device?

Increasing the SNMP timeout in RME is one thing to try and then re-try again. Is this device setup with the standard > and # prompts for telnet/enable?

I have set the SNMP timeout to 120 sec and still getting the same error.

Also, I notice that my running-config has been changed on the device, for example, I want to change my banner motd on the device, after executing the Netconf with my own customize MOTD, the old banner gets removed and the new MOTD is not being config. on the device. Why is this so?

P.S. the device prompts is the standard > & #.
