NT Authentication Server down, Cant log into 2509 router

We have a Cisco 2509 router that was using the TACACS+ on a WinNT Backup Domain Controller. The Authentication was implemented, but never really used. The router is only used for a Serial T1 Connection.

One of My Techs took the Old WinNT BDC off line and formatted the Drive. I now cant log into the router via telnet or the console. I get Authentication Failed messages.

I need to get a copy of the Config before It is wiped out, what can I do?

Reload the router, press the BREAK key

to abort the bootup, and the prompt

enter "config-reg 0x2142" (this means

to ignore the NVRAM config), then

"i" (reload), and the box should come

up without using it's config. Then

do a "config mem" (load the NVRAM config),

change the config-register back (config-reg

0x2102), and do a "show run" to see

your config.
