hello to all
Hi iam facing apeculiar problem. I ahve to connect to remote server thru tcp/ip thru a routed network of cisco routers (onlyeigrp).
However the first hop in th route is also an NT server router which has only RIP enabled. how to enable IP helper address or is there any alternative that can be done to enable Routing.

You can enable RIP on the router that connects to the NT server and redistribute EIGRP into RIP. You may need to redistribute RIP back into EIGRP if the NT server is aware of routes that the router doesn't have.

You can add persistant static routes on the NT box.

N/W x.x.x.x--------------NT Box------------------N/W y.y.y.yCiscobox1>>>>>>>CiscoBox2+Set of Cisco Boxes---------NTServerA
I have added one persistent route on the the Nt box
Iam not able to ping the NT serverA . Also trace route works upto Nt server after which dies out. From N/W y.y.y.y Iam able to ping NT serverA.
