NTP fails to synch

I have a 6506 with MSFC set to get its NTP reference from a proxy server running Tardis. This has been working OK but now has failed. The MSFC shows unsynchronised and says the reference clock is insane

Any thoughts as to why?

Re: NTP fails to synch

What has changed in your config since it stopped working? Try taking the ntp server command out and re-entering it (restarting the process sometimes fixes the problem).

Re: NTP fails to synch

All sorted, I blew the NTP config away and recreated it. Synched up straight away. There had been no config change previous to the trouble. I will monitor this and hope it is a single "glitch".

Anyway, this kind of thing keeps us on our toes!

Thanks.
