Recently, I've tried to establish the NTP server on my Cisco 2811. I thought it quite easy, but after a couple of days I understood that the task is not as obvious as it seems.
There is part of my configuration related to NTP:
ntp access-group peer 21
ntp access-group serve-only 20
ntp server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
ntp server yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy prefer
10 permit yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy
20 permit xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
10 permit 10.0.0.0, wildcard bits 0.255.255.255
The problem itself is that users can only sync with my NTP server when I add them to the access-list 21 but it shouldn't be like that! It seems to me that option "ntp access-group serve-only" doesn't work at all.
