NTP SERVER

Dear All,

i have 4006 acting as a core L3 switch in my network and 2600,7206 , 3500 acess switches .

i want to configure NTP in my network. shall i configure 4006 core L3 switch as a NTP server? if yes kindly suggesst me

why you don t use microsoft win2K or 3K server as NTP server?

Hi:

I suggest do not make NTP server any device that lost its time when reboot.

I agree with o.hassairi,but there are a mistake, Windows 2000 use SNTP

Only Windows 2003 use NTP (XP too) by default.

You only need to make sure the Windows Time service is on.
