NTP Synchronisation Problems

I am having trouble with the sync of my devices. Randomly the ntp server becomes unreachable and then immediately re-syncs. Can anyone help with the cause of this

where is the ntp server located?

What platform is having this problem and what version of code is it running? I had 1700s running fairly early 12.3T that would periodically indicate that they had lost sync with the NTP server and would then re-sync. I updated to a new version of code and the error messages stopped.

I have seen the same thing on a 1721 with 12.3T code. Every twelve hours, it would lose sync and then re-sync again.
