Number of notconnect ports on Switches

How do I get a table listing of all the ports not connected on a switch. I know we have a summary of unutilised slots but I cannot seem to find the ones for ports for each switch.

Please I will really like to know this so that I can remove cables from switches with ports no longer in use.

As your question is very brief, I will not go in too much detail either.

You did not mention the tools that you have at your disposal.

With CW2000 this can be done by letting Campus Manager generate a report for all ports on a specific (managed) device. The ports without a connected device will almost certainly be unused, supposing that you have IP running on all nodes.

Please tell us how to get CM done a report for all ports on a specific device.

For example in UT you get predefined reports, no report refers on unused ports.
