From configuration guide on C3550 follow that device can support only 16 SVI/routed interface.
In network of my customer i've found at list 25 active SVI (VLAN) interfaces - they use C3550 for termination of remote offices. In additional OSPF is run. And they have no problem.
Does anyone know there is an restriction on number of SVI interface on C3550 or I can increase its number until 1024 with definite level of traffic volume?

I believe you are referring to the 16 HSRP group limitation.
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/hsrp_cat3550_limit_44143.html
There is no software limits to the number of SVI's that can be configured, though CPU utilization will increase propotional to the number of SVI's configured. Also, there is the possibility of resource exhaustion with more number of SVI's.

No, i used for referring Software conf. guide on C3550
Tab 7-5
field "Subnet VLANs (routed ports and SVIs)" - 16
I thought it was top limit number.

The table gives you resource allocation with 16 SVIs. As I said you can configure more in software, but resources are limited and hence performance will be affected.
